It is our hope to love Almonte and surrounding area's by reaching out in our community in service, careful to give all the glory to God who is our hope and our strength.
My name is Dave Moriarity and I started pastoring at Cornerstone Community Church in 2015. I grew up in Bowmanville Ontario, and I am the second youngest of 6 kids. After High School, I moved to Surrey, British Columbia where I met my lovely wife Paula and in 2000 I made the best decision of my life, when I asked her to marry me.
I have my degree in Biblical Studies from Trinity Western University in Langley B.C, and I am currently studying for my Masters in Biblical studies at Tyndale Seminary in Toronto. I was appointed as the Pastor of Small Groups in 2012 at the FreeWay Free Methodist Church in Oshawa, Ontario and served there until my appointment at Cornerstone.
I enjoy playing golf, tennis and watching my favourite NHL team, the Edmonton Oilers, play (although that hasn’t been as much fun in recent years….). Paula and I enjoy travelling around the world and we are excited about our new adventure here in Almonte, at the Cornerstone Community Church.
